Mandala: Araimandi, Sthanka, Prenkhana, Garuda mandala

Hasta’s: Alapadama, Katkhamukha

Solkattu : Tai tai tha tha

 

Adavu 1

Starting position is in Araimandi with both hands in front of the chest in katakhamukha

Tai tai: Stamp right foot and with a small bounce

tha tha: Place right foot in prenkhana while standing in Sthanaka. Stretch right hand sideways into a straight line in alapadma

Dhit tai: Stamp left foot with both hands in front of the chest in katakhamukha and with a small bounce

tha tha: Place left foot in prenkhana while standing in Sthanaka. Stretch left hand sideways into a straight line in alapadma

Tai tai: Stamp right foot in Araimandi and stretch left arm back in katakhamukha while right hand is in front of the chest in katkhamukha. Body turns back with the left arm

tha tha: Place right foot in front, right knee bent facing forwards in garuda mandal, left arm stretches forwards in a straight line with alapadam

Dhit tai: Stamp left foot in Araimandi and stretch right arm back in katakhamukha while left hand is in front of the chest. Body turns back with the right arm

tha tha: Place left foot in front, left knee bent facing forwards in garuda mandala, right arm stretches forwards in a straight line with Alapadma.

Walk back in swastika with hands on waist to the starting position to the Solkattu of Tai tai tha tha Dhit tai tha tha.

Repeat starting from left.

Adavu 2

Starting position is Araimandi with both hands in front of the chest in katakhamukha

Tai tai : Jump on to your toes into a kuddita with both hands in front of the chest in katakhamukha

tha ta: Lift your right leg off the floor into a diagonal line, left feet on the ground,open your arms into a diagonal with left arm stretched above head, left side and right arm down, right  side, both hands in Alapadma. Body leaning towards left.

Repeat above movements again

Dhit tai: Jump on to your toes into a kuddita with both hands in front of the chest in katakhamukha

tha ta: Lift your left leg off the floor into a diagonal line, right feet on the floor, open your arms into a diagonal with right arm stretched above head, right side and left arm down, left side, both hands in alapadam. Body leaning towards right.

Repeat above movements again .

Stand in sthanka and do eye movements side to side to the Solkattu Tai tai tha tha Dhit tai tha tha.

Repeat starting from left

(Initial lift of the leg could be done sideways and then repeated with lift diagonally.)
