Meaning: Mandi means knee,

Mandala: Muzhumandi, samasuchi, Motitam, Sthankam

Hasta’s: Tripataka, Alapadma,Katakhamukha

Solkattu: Tangida tatta dhinna

 

3. Mandi adavu

Sit in muzhumandi with Right arm stretched diagonally to the right in Tripataka and left hand in front of the chest in tripataka

Tangida: Jump on the spot in muzhumandi. Both hands Tripataka facing up

Tatta dhina: Drop left knee down on to the floor (motitam), Both hands Tripataka face forwards.

Perform above once again.

Tangida: Jump on the spot in muzhumandi. Both hands Tripataka facing up

Tatta dhina: Drop both knees in a slide on to the floor (samasuchi), both hands Tripataka face forwards

Tangida: Using left feet as anchor, right foot in front, right knee facing forwards, get up with right arm stretched in front in straight line in Alapadma and left hand above head in katakhamukha

Tatta dhina: Perform a small bramhari and end in sthanka facing forwards with right arm performing a circular movement and end in front of the chest in katakhamukha.

Repeat starting left.
