Meaning : To spin/turn around

Mandala : Sthanaka , Ayata and Ekapada

Hasta’s : Katakamukha , Alapadma and Tripataka

Solkattu : Depending on the jati

Ekapada Bramhari – To turn around while standing on one leg

Two variations include

1) Body faces the front in sthanaka or ayata. Step back with one foot.
Using as a pivot whilst lifting the other leg as you spin on the spot.
Feet end in starting position

2) Same as above. Lifted leg ends being folded on the the knee in
ekapada
