Chatura hasta viniyoga

 Shloka:

Kasturyam kinchita arthae ch swarane

tamarae ch lohake aardrae khedhe rasaaswadhe

lochane varnabhedhane pramane sarase mandhagamane shakalikruthe

Aanane Ghruta tailadiao yujyatae chatura karaha

Meaning:

Kasturyam = Kasturi ( denote musk)

Kinchita arthae + to show small quantity

Swarane = Gold             Tamarae = brass    ch lohake = other metals    

Aardrae = wet                 Khedhe = sadness

Rasaaswadhe = to taste      Lochane = eyes

Varnabhedhane = differentiate colour or caste

Pramane = promise or to measure

Sarase = romance     Mandhagamane = slow movement

Shakaleekrute = breaking into small pieces

Aanane = face     Ghruta tailaidiao = Ghee and oil 

 Bhramara hasta viniyoga

 Shloka:  

Bhramare ch shuke pakshe Saarase Kokiladhisu

Bhramaraakhyo cha hastoyam keerthitataha bhartaagame

Meaning:

Bhramare = Bee          Shuke = Parrot         Pakshe = Wings

Saarase = Saarasa bird (Crane)    

Kokiladhisu = Kokila bird (Cuckoo) and similar birds

Hamsasya hasta viniyoga

Shloka:

Maangalya sootrabandhe cha updaeshavinischayae

Romanchae mouktikadoucha deepavartiprasaarane

nikshae malikadoucha chitrae tallekhane tatha

Damshe cha jalabhande cha hamsasyo yujyate khara

Meaning:

Maangalya = Blessing or auspicious    sootra bandhe = Tying with thread

updaesha = instruction vinischayae = ascertaining 

Romanchae = Horripilation ( hairs on the skin strands out in cold or fear)

mouktikadoucha = pearls    

deepavartiprasaarane = putting forward the wick of a lamp to brighten

nikshae = touchstone ( stone meant to test gold)

malikadoucha = Jasmine flowers   chitrae = a painting

Tallekhane = the act of painting       Damshe = Sting

jalabhande = impeding a current of water

Hamsapaksha hasta viniyoga

Shloka:

Shatsankyayam sethubhandhe nakharekha ankhane tata

Pidhane hamsapakshoyam khatita bharatagame

Meaning:

Shatsankyayam = To denote number six

sethubhandhe = construction of a bridge

nakharekha ankhane = putting nail marks 

Pidhane = covering or sheath

Sandhamsha hasta viniyoga

Shloka:

Udare balidhane cha vrane keetae mahabhaye

Archane pancha sankyayam sandhamshakyo ni yujyate

Meaning:

Udare = denote belly    balidhane = presenting offering to deities

vrane = wound     keetae =  worm       mahabhaye = great fear

Archane = worship     pancha sankyayam = to denote number five

Mukhula hasta viniyoga

Shloka:

Kumudhae bhojane pancha bhane mudradi dharane

Nabhou cha kadalipushpe yujyate mukhula kharaha

Meaning:

Kumudhae = Water lily    bhojane = eating   

pancha bhane = five arrows (god of love with his five arrows)

 mudradi dharane = holding a signet or seal

Nabhou = navel (belly button)   kadali pushpe = Plantain flower

Tamrachuda hasta viniyoga

Shloka:

Kukkutadhou bhake kake ushtre vathse cha lekhane

Yujyate tamrachudakyo khara bharatvedibhi

Meaning:

Kukkuta = Denote a cock      bhake = crane (bird)

 kake  = crow    ushtre   = camel   vathse = calf    lekhane = pen

Trishula hasta viniyoga

Shloka:

Bilvapatre tritvayukte trishulakara iritaha

Meaning:

Bilvapatre =  To denote bel leaf      tritvayukte = idea of trinity ( or to denote three)
